How big is Calvary? 

We have approximately 1,200 members.

When was Calvary founded? 

March of 1889, when nine baptized believers in Christ met to consider the possibility of forming a local church. Visit Who We Are for more info!

What is the worship schedule? 

• Sundays @ 10:00 a.m.: Worship with us!
  • In-person

• 3rd and 4th Sundays:
  • Children’s Church (Grades Pre-K to 2) gathers at 10 am on the third floor
  • Youth Worship (Grades 3 to 12) gathers after Praise and Worship on the first floor

What is the study schedule?

• Adult Church School classes are offered on Saturdays @ 6:00 p.m. (virtual) & Sundays @ 9:00 a.m. (in-person and virtual)

• Youth Church School classes are offered on 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9:00 a.m. (in-person)
• Christians Seeking Instruction (CSI) is our Bible Study. It is offered on most Tuesday evenings @ 7:00 p.m. 

What is worship like? 

If you like lively worship, then Calvary is the place for you. We have been described as Bapticostal – a blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles. Our music ministry offers both old school and new school selections. There will be some spirit-filled singing, clapping, and dancing while others will be sitting in silent reflection. You will be free to worship your way. We pray that something will be said, or done, that draws you closer to God.

Do I have to dress up?

No, you don’t. We encourage people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for most it simply means wearing casual clothes. We simply ask that you dress modestly and decently. We want everyone to come, be comfortable, and enjoy learning about God together. Come as you are!

Will I have to stand up and say something? 

We would like guests to stand so that we can acknowledge your presence and present you with a gift that affords us an opportunity to get to know you. You will not be put on the spot to say anything.

Is there wheelchair access? 

Yes. There is an elevator near the Willow Street entrance that can be taken to the second floor for access to the sanctuary and/or the third floor.
