“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” – Psalm 84:10
Ushers are forerunners. We arrive early to prepare the sanctuary for worshippers by seeing that items for the congregation are in their proper place.
Greeters are responsible for welcoming congregants at the entrances of the Church.
The best ushers are prompt, dependable, polite, courteous and alert. They are CBC members in good standing who attend Church School and Bible study.
Greeters are the smiles of the church. They also need a tender handshake
