CSI: Believing for Better
Join us on Tuesdays in September for "What Kind of God is This?" Tune in via Zoom at 7 pm. This year's theme is "Believing for Better" - we will be taking a scriptural deep dive to discover the person and purpose of Christ for the bettering of ourselves and our world. A message from Women of Purpose Chair Maria Walker: Grace and Peace Women of Purpose! The time has come for our Women of Purpose Weekend. I am anticipating what God has in store for the women at Calvary this year and I pray you are too. We have planned an exciting weekend and we look forward to each of you taking advantage of this opportunity to fellowship with one another. Our theme this year: We Are One… Better Together Friday, 9/18: Bowling Night at Hanover Lanes $35 per person, includes food Saturday, 9/19: Wellness Day 12-min Massages: $20 Make your own Shea Butter: $5/jar Zumba: Bring your own workout gear Makeup Tutorial Vendors, and more! Sunday, 9/20: Women's Sunday Guest Preacher Rev. Dr. Elaine Flake, Greater Allen AME Cathedral Colors: Off White with Orange/Brown Accents Lunch following service Ladies, we have a deadline we need to adhere to so if you plan to attend any of the activities, please make the deadline by September 11th. I encourage as many ladies as possible to join the choir this year. Flowers will be sold for $10.00. Choir members do not have to purchase a flower.
