Job Opportunity – Church Administrator
Baptist Church, Morristown, New Jersey
General Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the pastoral staff and the congregation; present a positive image to those who contact the Church by phone and/or in person. Maintains annual Church calendar. Keep accurate Church records. Serve as liaison between Media and Graphic Designer. Back up support for Administrative Assistant to Senior Pastor.
Experience & Education: Minimum five years clerical/administrative experience. HS Diploma/Equivalent Required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Highly competent in the use of various software and social media platforms. Strong verbal and written skills. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Suite. Use of desktop publishing software. Knowledge and use of Photoshop highly desired.
Environment: Church office and other Church related facilities. Typical work hours 9am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday except for special events and when backing up Administrative Assistant to Senior Pastor, might require occasional weekend hours.
